From 25 to 29 September, the fifth edition of SPIEGAMELO arrives in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR)! Dissemination Festival with a rich program of meetings, laboratories and workshops dedicated to the dissemination and diffusion of culture.
After Water, Time, Space and Monsters, themes to which the previous editions were dedicated, this year too the program of SPIEGAMELO! Dissemination Festival will be expressed through a single word: ‘Future’. A term which – with the addition of the subtitle “instructions for use” – lends itself to play and ambiguity and allows us to delve into the numerous nuances of a concept as vast as it is fundamental. Understanding the future is a task, but also an obligation that we all have to deal with. The ultimate goal of this understanding is to obtain the tools with which to live and decipher today’s world. Explain it to me! was born with this mission: to disseminate and entertain, leaving seeds of knowledge among the public ready – one day – to become practical tools to use in everyday life.
The fifth edition will be inaugurated (Wednesday 25 September, 9pm, Corte civica Tommasini) by the sociolinguist Vera Gheno in dialogue with Francesca Crescentini (on the web known as Tegamini). The occasion will be useful to present his latest book Grammanti (Einaudi) and to put words at the center of the debate, to understand how these can be the raw material from which to start to move in today’s world, looking to tomorrow.
