Castelnuovo Fogliani (Alseno) – Church of San Biagio
Also in the province of Piacenza, 8 km from Chiaravalle stands the charming little village of Castelnuovo Fogliani. The village grew up around the medieval fortress, which was subsequently turned into a villa, probably to a design by Vanvitelli. The fortress is now a private stately home with a neoclassical facade, standing in impressive gardens.
