Soto Zen “Shobozan Fudenji” Temple

Fudenji Temple is set in the hill town of Bargone, between Salsomaggiore and Tabiano Terme.
It hosts a Buddhist religious community that live following the ancient rules of Zen monasteries and welcomes practitioners from all over the world.

The study and the practice of the original lessons are flanked by specific activities and initiative like: Sitting Meditation (Zazen), Walking Meditation (Kin-Hin), Reciting the Sutra, Meeting with the Master, Teaching and working activities, Massagges Zen, Stitiching of the dress, Japanese Calligraphy (Shodo), T Cerimony (Chado) – Chi Kung.
Every sunday from 9.20 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. practicing Meditation, Reciting Heart Sutra, Canonical Reading, Teaching, Refectory, afternoon activities, guided tours on demand.

The Temple is connected to the japanese Sotoshu Shumucho, benchmark of the international Zen Soto.
