Paolo is the first protagonist of our #SalsoStories. He was born in Lombardy but has Salsomaggiore in his heart. After his studies in medicine and herbal medicine he dedicated himself to design and realize the family-run business Gavinell, a modern agricoltural and herbal factory.
The second #SalsoStories is dedicated to the pastry chef Claudio Gatti owner of Tabiano Bakery in Tabiano Bagni. He plays a major role in italian pastry scene and is the President of the “Sourdough and Italian Panettone Masters Academy” which is born to protect and spread consciousness about leavened products made in Italy. He’s a real craftsman who reinvents his cult products every season and exports them all over the world. Claudio Gatti is a stubborn innovator of the traditional tastes and his Focaccia is a trademark of a style where taste and lightness wonderfully balance each other.
The family of Michela, our new protagonist of the #SalsoStories, decided to move from Milan and put down his personal and business roots in Salsomaggiore Terme carrying the dream of a sustainable and green fashion. Bloom is Michela’s shop, the dream come true.
Michael Cella is the new protagonist of #SalsoStories and seem unstoppable. After a degree in Sports Science and training abroad he came back to Italy to graduate in Osteopathy. In 2012 he founded Sport University with other professionists that is a sports association promoting a 360° sports vision. He started to manage Sport University Center from 2015 working with other professional figures with a common aim: the wellbeing of the person.
Mattia Zalaffi comes from generations of bakers, a profession in which he put a lot of commitment, attention and passion, proudly carrying on his family tradition.
Here we are with another #Salsostories, today dedicated to La Broncarda, a small big gem of our territory led by Luana and his family with mastery, commitment and dedication. Farm, cheese factory, restaurant, B&B… La Broncarda is a good example of a circular economy where nature, culture, wellness and genuine flavours are values kept and handed down with love.
There’s no place like home, and there’s nothing better than working at a relaxed space that feels like a second home. Alice Loschi, the protagonist of this new #salsostories, knows it well that’s why, with her long time friend Daniela Ravanetti and other girls, she created Salsomaggiore Terme Coworking, a beautiful multipurpose office space to call home.
Davide Granelli, the protagonist of our new #salsostories, is one of a kind, with contagious energy and a kind attitude. After a serious upbringing, he decided to follow his greatest passion, to create events for everyone, especially in his beloved Salsomaggiore. In a moment like this, we can only look with nostalgia at the images of his successes and hope that he will return very soon to do what comes naturally to him, creating culture and fun.
“We think that Pastry, the one of excellence, is an art even more than an attitude. That is what our father, Renzo Tosi, thought us together with a dedication that has been handed down from generation to generation, supported by the passion for quality, which has always been an authentic guarantee of excellence for all our products ” We could not have said it better … we’re pleased to introduce you Michela and Lorenza Tosi, entrepreneurs at the helm of the famous @pasticceriatosi1962, where the legendary Focaccia was born in 1965, an absolute excellence of our territory, to be enjoyed all year round. And for this Easter do not miss their amazing Colomba, to gift to yourself and to your loved ones.

The Love Story between 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 and Salsomaggiore Terme began in 1966. At that time, they owned a small local grocery store but they had a higher purpose: they wanted 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. How to get this? Just 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, from the land where they grew up: so the heirs, Massimiliano and Francesca founded 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘂̀! Their project 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 like olive trees, wheat crops and Lambrusco Maestri vineyards. Their philosophy main idea is the 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 “𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀”!
Inspired by “Chocolat” by Lasse Hallström Marco Biolzi, owner of the Bar and ice-cream shop I Portici, invented the Pralines with typical liquors of Salsomaggiore Terme and the Salsomaggiore Terme Salt Chocolate.
A passion that deserves the De.CO territorial certification mark.
