A trail of easy difficulty, almost 20 km surrounded by nature and the peaceful countryside. Biking you can explore an uncontaminated land and discover new landscapes riding uphill and downhill through the marvelous hilly area.

Free car parking on Via del Lavoro is recommended for departure. The route starts from the centre of Salsomaggiore, with the majestic Art Nouveau palace of the Berzieri Baths dating back to 1923; in front, always on piazza Lorenzo Berzieri, the unmistakable Scotti Well, with the particular wrought-iron cage decorated with floral motifs. Then enter via Valentini, passing the Cathedral of San Vitale built in 1927. At the intersection enter on Porro Avenue that leads you out of the village, then follow the direction to Cangelasio, the hill offers wonderful panoramic views of the neighboring territory. In the locality Moracchi take the dirt road that will move you from the asphalt to enjoy the dirt roads among the green of the hilly vegetation; 8 kilometers immersed in nature, passing between flowery meadows and groves. You will pass in locality Casalino on the middle of the route and you will start the descent down to the valley. Follow the track to return to the asphalt in locality Moracchi and retrace the asphalt that accompanied you on the hillside. Finish the excursion by returning to the starting point.
Once in the centre of Salsomaggiore, we recommend a stop at bars, ice cream parlours or clubs that offer exquisite local specialties.
