Giuseppe Verdi and the soprano Dina Barberini from Tabiano

Curiosities: in the summer of 1880, during his vacation in Tabiano, while the Master Giuseppe Verdi was attending the holy mass, noted that a cleaner and higher voice stood out in the chours: was the voice of the 13 years old Dina Barberini, a farmer’s daughter. He sent her in Milan for studying and then she became a very famous lyric singer, also very appreciated abroad.
